This week, we added a lot of new miners. Mining profits for Infinity Hash went up a bit, with the IHS price going up even though Bitcoin went down. Apart from this, we completed two major dashboard updates, made infrastructure and cleaning progress at the farm, have a new community vote online, and introduced our new $500 free Bitcoin mining testing phase.

    a) Completed updates

    $500 testing phase

    We finally finished the long-planned offer update, introducing a $500 free testing phase for new users. Implementing this was critical to keep the project growing towards 1 exahash, as it takes away the biggest culprit new users had: risk. New users can now test Infinity Hash for a full month and decide to buy during or after the testing phase without putting any money down for testing. Click here to read more about it below.

    Payment flow updates

    The new payment flow is online and should improve the user experience greatly! We’ll also be able to introduce a new bank transfer option for US users soon. Apart from this, we’ve also sorted payment providers on the lowest fees, availability based on the account’s selected country, as well as based on the verification level.

    b) Current development efforts

    Marketplace burns (90% done)

    This update will replace the 20% fee with a 10% burn (based on the community vote #12). The update will include a table to transparently show burns within the system. This update did take some time because we are directly including a few new improvements and have to take measures so the updated version stays compliant with regulations. Based on how fast community vote #14 is decided, we would directly include it in this update.

    Payout improvements and automated withdrawals (95% done)

    We have been working on community VIP levels in the background for a while now. The goal is to provide perks for users based on how many IHS they hold. As soon as we start working on it, we will share our ideas for additional community feedback and ideas from all of you.

    New affiliate system (not started yet)

    After 2 years, we’ll do a few first changes to how the affiliate system works. This will improve everything for the community, the project, AND for all affiliates. As this will tie in with the community VIP levels and a few regulatory changes in the background, we’ll most likely wait with implementing it until the community levels are fully online and we receive feedback from users. If you are an active affiliate, worry not, there won’t be any cutbacks!

    Electricians’ work

    The electricians continued their work from last week. Their tasks included rewiring cables and preparing transformer connectors.

    Cleaning marathon

    Of course, we continued to clean diligently this week. The compressor that broke down last week was repaired and was supposed to be back in service this week, but another one broke down this week.

    Work on the farm

    Additional ventilation shafts were installed to regulate the temperatures in the electrical panels. Many fans and power supplies were replaced this week.

    Introducing the $500 free Bitcoin mining testing phase

    We have now launched our $500 free Bitcoin mining testing phase, available for everyone signing up that never had any IHS or xIHS before (aka, new accounts only!). Users get an option to get $500 worth of IHS for 1 free month of testing with absolutely no strings attached. This means they don’t have to buy anything after the 1-month testing phase. After and during the testing phase, users can decide to purchase the IHS they tested. In this case they will keep their mining rewards from the testing phase.

    The main advantages for the project and community behind this are:

    • New users can test Infinity Hash without any financial risk (no need to put any money down)
    • Only users that actually like the product will purchase after testing (no more short-term gains people joining the community)
    • The low risk will lead to many more people trying Infinity Hash and potentially liking it (also means a better incentive for those using the affiliate system)
    • Faster growth for the whole project = improved profitability and better conditions for everyone involved

    Steps involved in the testing phase:

    1. Users get the option (pop-up) to test with $500 in IHS for a full month for free directly after signing up for their account.
    2. During the testing month, they receive full mining rewards, can use the rewards pools, and test the full platform. Withdrawals, staking, marketplace, and voting, as well as a few smaller functions, are disabled.
    3. After the testing phase is over, participants have one week to decide if they want to purchase 100 IHS or more to keep their full mining rewards and get bonus IHS on top (up to 20% based on the purchase amount).

    Not: The offers and a progress bar of the testing phase itself will become visible within a few days from now.

    Community vote #14 is online

    Soru: Should we disable rewards for IHS in sell orders?

    Açıklama: Currently, IHS that are for sale on the marketplace still earn daily rewards. If we look at other projects, contracts that are for sale aren’t earning rewards. The one reason for that is to keep the order book of the marketplace tidy and only have short- to mid-term orders in there. The other reason is to favor people who want to stay in the project over people who intend to exit. Rewards would only be distributed to IHS that are not for sale in the marketplace, effectively increasing profits for long-term holders.
